A friend of mine is about to make a big mistake I think. She's in her 20's and a knockout by any criteria you can imagine. Intelligent, passionate and a ton of fun, she is about to make a life changing mistake. Let me explain. 

My friend is single but doesn't want to be. However, she is what I would call a typical modern woman. She does not like the men in her own country! What's a woman to do? Simple! She looked around and found an eligible man. Easy right? WRONG!

The dude is married. He is a client, soon to be her manager and he has a son. Oh, and he lives at the other end of the ocean from her. 

She recently told me that he told her he was in a bad marriage, that it had been bad even before he met her and he was around just to stick with his son. He doesn't want to lose his son in whatever happens. Does this sound familiar? How many of you have heard this same story before? Raise your hands!

Men think with their dicks, not with their brains. Men will promise a woman the world until they get what they want and then, oh sorry! Something came up. I can't get a divorce after all! I can't leave my son. My wife said we can do it soon. Give me a year! (But in the meantime sleep with me, ok? Love me, ok? I will really get a divorce, I promise!)

How can I tell her? Well this is one way, I guess. She will read this and then not talk to me forever but that is worth it. I would rather be the one to tell her than the dude in ten years when she is too old to have kids and settle down. He says that he wants to spend his life with her. I say, how does he know? He travels a lot. I wonder if he has women in every port? Anyway, at this point I would say COOL IT! Settle down and forget your dreams for a moment. The guy is married! Once he gets his damn divorce then see what happens. Until then, keep your legs together and see what happens. I can guarantee that if she locks the door on him, then he will go somewhere else. He was promised a job, the chance at a new career. In other words he is pushing the right buttons. 

I love this person like a sister, like a daughter, like the beautiful person she is. I hate to bust her balloon but better me than him. I don't want to pick up the pieces of her after the inevitable happens. 

If I am wrong, then I will shout it in three foreign languages from somewhere high, not sure where. But I guarantee I am not wrong.
