AT LAST FREEDOM. I'VE PASSED ALL MY EXAMS SUCCESFULLY. THAT WAS THE WORST EXAM STRESS IN MY LIFE. BUT THANX TO ALLAH, I MANAGED TO GET OVER THIS STRESS. NOW I'M HAPPY.

   90 years ago (in 1918) on this day the first democratic republic in the East was founded in Azerbaijan. Its founders were Mammad Amin Rasulzadeh, Phatali Khan Khoiski, Alibay Huseynzadeh, Alimardanbay Topchubashov and other intellegent and patriot personalities of Azerbaijani nation. Azerbaijani Democratic Republic was the first state in the East that declared its "Independence Declaration". Its main principles are as follows:

1. Azerbaijan is fully legal and independent state. Its situated in the South and The East of the southern Caucasus. The authority belongs to Azerbaijani nation.

2. The political structure form of Azerbaijan is democratic Republic.

3. Azerbaijani Democratic Republic will have friend relations with all the members of international community, esp. with neighbours.

4. Azerbaijani Democratic Republic gives political & citizenship rights to all people living in the borders of the Republic not depending on nation, sex, religion & social position.

5. Azerbaijani Democratic republic will offer all necesarry facilities for the development of Azerbaijani nation as well as other nations living in the borders of the Republic.

    The independence of Azerbaijani democratic republic was firstly recognized by Turkey and it was the offical foundation of Azerbaijani & Turkish brotherhood.

    On the 11th of January in 1920 the independence of the ADR was recognized de facto by the Higher Council of The Versal Peace Conference in Paris.

    During the ADR's authority the following innovations took place in the East:

1. The first republic was founded

2. The first Parliament was opened on the 7th of December in 1918.

3. Woman got equal rights with men

4. Women got the right of voting and to be voted

5. The first University in the East - Baku State University was opened.

6. Firstly in the East the schools for girls were opened

    On the 24th of June the national three coloured flag & herb were declared. On the 27th of June in 1918 after 100 years Azerbaiajni language was declared as the offical language of Azerbaijan. Offical currency Manat was declared in 1918. Today Azerbaijan republic still saves the flag, herb, anthem & currency accepted by the ADR.
