Sonnet 116 William Shakespeare

Let me not the marriage of true minds admit impediments.

Love is not love which alters when in alteration finds, Or bends with the remover to remove:

O, no! It's an ever-fixed mark, That looks on tempests and is never shaken; It's the star to every wandering bark, Whose worth's unknow, although his height be taken.

Love's not time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks Within his bending sickle's compass come;

Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks, But bears it out even to the edge of doom.

If this be error, and upon me proved, I never wrote, nor man ever loved.

 

Soneto 116

De almas sinceras a união sincera nada há que impeça

Amor não é amor se quando encontra obstáculos se altera Ou se vacila ao mínimo temor.

Amor é um marco eterno, dominante, Que encara a tempestade com bravura; É astro que norteia a vela errante, Cujo valor se ignora lá na altura

Amor não teme o tempo, Muito embora seu alfange não poupe a mocidade ; Amor não se transforma de hora em hora , Antes se afirma para a eternidade. Se isso é falso, e que é falso alguém provou, Eu não sou poeta, e ninguém nunca amou.

Our  father 

Our father who is in Heaven

Holy is your name

Your kingdom come ,

Your will be done

On earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive us our sins,

As we forgive those who sin against us

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from evil

Amen  

 

 

I would like to thank God for everything that I have in my life. My family, my job, my friends and my health. I'm sure that I'm a lucky person. Although all the problems that we have daily, I  know that  I do my best  in everything.

It's very sad to add someone as a friend and this person doesn't send a comment to you . What is friendship ? I don't wanna be a number , It's not worth having 20, 200 or 2.000 friends  if you don't talk to them . So please, if you wanna be my friend , it's to speak English and improve our  writing skills.
