Let The Games Begin!
“LET THE GAMES BEGIN!” To me it is one thing to try and compete with oneself in that he or she tries to better oneself, being a self within a world of selves – selves or a group of all individuals being supported and supporting a “world-wide, united-self.”  To set individual goals to become stronger, more knowledgeable or possibly a better person, not only for the self, but for mankind in general, is healthy, productive and universally serving.  However, to me, to be only motivated by the desire to beat someone else is childlike and self-serving – ending up serving no one. I witness every year a world-wide people whose sole interest, it would seem, is to beat – to win at all costs.  We are a people who are driven to be first – we hate to loose – and not only to loose or to fail at a self-desired goal or personal expectation, but to have someone else advance ahead of us seems disgusting. For many of us to have someone “beat” us can be a sense or feeling far grievous than the grief that can be experienced of the death of a love-one. I mean it is one thing to try to improve something within yourself, believing that this time - this attempt – that you will somehow find away to break free from any limitation that you once may have had or felt, and triumph – advancing as an individual, and again, not in spite of another.  In this way, it helps with the advancement of mankind at large, and ends up serving everyone. When one advances or improves within oneself, not being motivated in spite of or with indifference to another’s feelings, the world advances and becomes a better place for all of us to live, being a world with one interest, and that one interest being to have a world of enduring love and lasting peace.   It may be important to understand that “self-improvement” should not be a result of self-love or of self-interest, for this is narcissism.  Of this narcissism or self-love, as children, we were taught this principle by our parents, our teachers and by our community, and in turn we then pass it on, this self-love and/or self-interest, to our following generations. Competition “Games,” are nothing more than wars without bullets. To compete with the interest of peddling or of selling anything political or of religious connotation is cheating; it is dishonest and robs a society of its dignity and agency. I understand that at one time public competitors, usually men, were naked during their “wrestling” – today, although the groins and chests (chests of the female competitors) of the “combatants” are covered, as I see it, in many cases they might as well not be.  I am not saying that I have a problem with nudity – nudity is natural and wonderful, but to run a piece of cloth between one’s thighs and/or to tie something up and over one’s nipples and suggest that one is “covered” is “teasing.”  Either cover up or take it off — anyway for me to see rippling sinew stretched and twisted across leathery hide-covered bone to its maximum snapping point is not appealing — I can view reruns of close-up shots ran at slow-speed of the Kentucky Derby if I should care at some future evolution of my brain to view such power “flexing.” Again, to want to improve oneself for the benefit of all is noble.  Albeit, to want to beat down another simply to gratify one’s self interest(s) or anyone country or to attempt to sell anything that suggests an opinion or an agenda is trickery and is an insult to the intelligence of fans – it is dishonest – it’s nothing more than rabbit bait. I know that we all have some need of having a sense of belonging, of being needed and/or exceptional.  We all need to be recognized as being a good person who is knowledgeable, strong and courageous.  However, why do we somehow believe that the only way to achieve such sense of personal-qualification is to bust or to beat down another in order to feel accomplished, satisfied or justified? How would it be if at the next world competition all the competitors used their collective talents, beauty, their health and strength to build a house for a homeless family or to hold a heaping plate of rich food before a starving child?  What if all of us ran a race to the nearest orphanage and with bulging muscles hugged a lonely and love-starved child within our collective arms? I say, “Let the Games begin!” – The game of helping, building, supporting a world-wide race to and for a world-wide love and peace. If I win, you will win with me.  On the other hand, if you loose, I will loose with you.

I saw

I saw a beautiful woman yesterday:

ah! What tantalizing curves and tempting eyes she had.  The way she walked and moved made my heart pound with wanting excitement.  The sweet smells of her warm body as I drew nearer to her made my body groan with aching desire.

It was as though she had been cloaked in an ivory black and silky silence, being long and comely.   She seemed to be beckoning me to follow her – to follow only to where one cannot return not having had all his fantasies fulfilled.

Yes, she was lovely - lovelier than a new spring day warmed by a nude sun; livelier than the beating heart of a captured bird in the palm of one’s hand.

With abated restraint, I followed the slender lines of her soft shoulders down – down to forbidden connections…

Yes, yesterday, as the colors of my paint filled an otherwise white and naked canvas, I began not only to see but to feel, smell and experience a beautiful woman.

What Can I Say?

Firstly, are all of you from "your" country so quick to accuse others of malintent?   Many people down here in this country think that those from "your" country are arrogant, demanding and officiously prideful.  At first, I did not understand why they thought that – I am now seeing it.

Secondly, are only those who care about gaining knowledge as a means to improve themselves and/or their families or the lives of people in general capable of “spinning a ‘tale’ (yarn)?

Thirdly, no, I disagree that those who have a “dry” sense of humor are “special” as because of this dry wit.  I think people are special by the simple fact that they are people.

Fourthly, where I can and do respect your candor, I was and am annoyed by your assuming manner.  To me, it is unbecoming of one who is as beautiful as you – I mean, I see that you can do yourself better than what you are trying to indicate to me by your unfriendly manner.

Fifthly, the cost of living as to your question, “Is 'my' country expensive?”, is a matter of exactly that – cost of living as well as a little subject relative ness.

Now for the biggest problem that I had with your latest words:  illegal aliens?”  Do you not know or understand the settlement history and politics of the people who currently occupy the territory (patch of land – dirt) of "your" country? And yes, “Here I am, teaching a language that is universal to a people who are called or referred to as humans – they have feelings; they love their families; they work and play and go to school.”

Now if “my” words have not upset you into running away from me, I would like to continue a process of making friends with you.

And you too, “Have a nice day,”

Not all adjectives are of the same importance of arrangement...

Caution.—When two or more adjectives are used with a noun, care must be taken in their arrangement. If they differ in rank, place nearest the noun the one most closely modifying it. If of the same rank, place them where they will sound best — generally in the order of length, the shortest first.
Explanation. Two honest young men were chosen. A tall, straight, dignified person entered. Young tells the kind of men, honest tells the kind of young men, and two tells the number of honest young men; hence these adjectives are not the same rank. Tall, straight, and dignified modify person independently—the person is tall and straight and dignified; hence these adjectives are of the same rank.
Notice the comma after tall and straight; and may be supplied; in the first sentence and cannot be supplied.  The specifying adjectives come first, the classifying next, and the identifying last, these last often forming a compound with the noun. The conjunction and optionally appears between classifying adjectives of the same rank.

Direction.Arrange the adjectives listed below as to which should be nearest the modified noun, and give your reasons:—

1. A Newfoundland pet handsome large dog.

2. Level low five the fields.

3. A wooden rickety large building.

4. Blind white beautiful three mice.

5. An energetic restless brave people.

6. An enlightened civilized nation.
