Me When I Was Me

I try to look at it this way: there are no good or bad people - just people.  Now people may do things that I disagree with or people may disagree with me and what I do or say.  Albiet, we are all people trying to maybe get from one end to another - wherever one end to another is.   And too, maybe there are no other people - it could be that people exist only because I exist.  So if there are any 'good' or 'bad' people they may be what I have created - they are what I have chosen them to be.

Well, being always happy is a gift, a very rare gift from God. It's given to all children though, but it dissappears like their intrinsic 6th sense when they look at the stranger  and very well aware how to push  buttons ;). Some kids keep the childish innocent radiance until puberty then they start behaving to gradually fit in the society. Some keep it the whole life which is unique and that unique quality as any precious gift might be taken by someone by mockering at it,  saying something rude , offensive. But the nature can't be changed, it's like a spirit and if you keep it -- you'll be the "wealthiest" person beyond all the perishable riches, beyond all the wicked things...

I often wonder if life could always be lived as when we were young and innocent - and why not? Maybe that is what death is about - going back to innocence.

Yes, that is the view of life by the innocent, vulnerable and lovable children. When I look at my child, i'm pretty much worried about him, because you're absolutely right about the second line.
