hi ,i am youthliu .do you know me ?i am upset these days ,because my scores is too low.i am so sad ! should i enter a college or not is not uncertain.could you have some advice to me .

and i am so sad that my english is too low in my china college entrance examination,about 99(150 in all ).why ?because i was careless to do it .and my english is ok in my class ,but why did i badly in my english test ?careless or some else?

i always did well in my english exams ,and had a high marks ,however ,my score is too low in china college entrance examination,which made me upset and low spirit.any advice to me ?

hi ,my friends .maybe you know a little about me .okay.i am youthliu who comes from china.yeah , now i will tell you a good story that i want to share with you .

June 7 to 8 is the time that we had our national colleage examination .do you know ? during that time ,we nevious,but happy ! because ii is a time to harvest ourselves.some of my classmates were hard working .i did so .good memories were passed .new things are coming .when the exams came to an end ,we happy ,we got togather ,and drank a lot of beer , when my english teacher miss xiao come to our eyes ,which made happy .besies ,my another teacher mr guo was coming ,too .not only we drank a lot of beer ,but also my teachers ,this is because that we have the last time to get together .we graduated from my school ! now we are happy ! no matter where my classmates go to ,i wish their best ! may they have a good day in the future.may my teachers have a good health.tkanks to someone who always helped me !tkanks !

a big earthquake happened in our province

hi, i am a senior three student ,and will graduate from my school this year.we have about 20 days left .china colleges exams is coming ....but i still remember a day when a big earthquake hit our province . i live in a small town of our city .but i studying in a high schoool in our city .at that time , a bad news come to my ear,said that a big earthquake hit wenchuan county,sichuan province. i am so sad to hear that!and what is worse ,a lot of people died and some of them still buried in the debris .as a chinese ,i wish them ok and fine. we president and premier come to our province and help the people who were injuried and comfort them .that day .our school donated some money for the areas which were destoryed by the earthquake .may we chinese get through the pain ,also we do well in our exams in coming days .god bless we chinese . wish everything will be ok.

A crow felt very thirsty. He looked for water everywhere. Finally, he found a pitcher. 　　But there was not a lot of water in the pitcher. His beak could not reach it. He tried again and again, but still could not touch the water. 　　When he was about to give up, an idea came to him. He took a pebble and dropped it into the pitcher. The Perfect Dog

During summer vacations, I would volunteer at the vet’s, so I’d seen a lot of dogs. Minnie was by far the funniest-looking dog I’d ever seen. Thin curly hair barely covered her sausage-shaped body. Her bugged-out eyes always seemed surprised. And her tail looked like a rat’s tail.

She was brought to the vet to be put to sleep because her owners didn’t want her anymore. I thought Minnie had a sweet personality, though. "No one should judge her by her looks," I thought. So the vet spayed her and gave her the necessary shots. Finally, I advertised Minnie in the local paper: "Funny-looking dog, well behaved, needs loving family."

When a young man called, I warned him that Minnie was strange looking. The boy on the phone told me that his grandfather’s sixteen-year-old dog had just died. They wanted Minnie no matter what. I gave Minnie a good bath and fluffed up what was left of her scraggly hair. Then we waited for them to arrive.

At last, an old car drove up in front of the vet’s. Two kids raced to the door. They scooped Minnie into their arms and rushed her out to their grandfather, who was waiting in the car. I hurried behind them to see his reaction to Minnie.

Inside the car, the grandfather cradled Minnie in his arms and stroked her soft hair. She licked his face. Her rattail wagged around so quickly that it looked like it might fly off her body. It was love at first lick.

"She’s perfect!" the old man exclaimed.

I was thankful that Minnie had found the good home that she deserved.

That’s when I saw that the grandfather’s eyes were a milky white color - he was blind.

My life

when i was young , i often hate my parents ,because they always told me to do the thing I really don't wanna do .just like reading books,play paino, running... when I saw other chilren play happy with each other, I feel so sad.but today I became a writer ,and I inspired by the music .others read the book which is written by me.I feel so pride.and running make me very healthy.so,do as your preants said.they will never wanna hurt you .

English movies and Chinese culture

Welcome to my blog .........

From 1980s, a lot of western things have been swarming into China, which have influenced Chinese culture greatly. Just as everything has two sides. I think these influences include positive and negative aspects.

Positive aspects:
Political culture----the concept of democracy
In English movies, there are lots of scenes such as election, parliament and ballot. Chinese know the western democracy truly that is different from the education of the Chinese Communist Party.
Life culture----real western life style
In English movies, we find that life can be so degage like that. It makes many people thirsty for English life even paying with their lives.
Family culture----the new family concept
In the Chinese culture, there are usually big families. Lots of people live together including your grandparents, your parents, your aunts, your uncles, your brothers, your sisters and you. However, when we have seen English movies, we changed our concept. We know that parents and we can live separately. Parents will not put so much attention on us as before after we could support ourselves. They can live happily by themselves, but in past, parents put their attention on us all their lives. Meanwhile, we also find that we will not take care of our parents so much when we come up the stage. In past, the situation is not so. Chinese attach importance to filial piety so that we should take care of our parents very much.
Clothing culture----various clothing
In English movies, we find that we can live by ourselves which is called individualism. In the past, Chinese clothing is simple that is different from motley clothing and hairstyle in England. Recently, from Sun Yet Sen's uniform to business suit, from cheongsam to erogenous clothes，the clothing has changed greatly.
Food culture----food and drink
In English movies, we can frequently see a family having breakfast together in the morning. Milk and coffee become more and more popular among youths in China. Meanwhile, tea that represents traditional drink in Chinese culture has less influence than before. Moreover, fast foods such as hamburgers, sandwiches, chips and buffet dinners impact Chinese food. A lot of Chinese, especially youths consider them as their favourite food, though they are a litter expensive.

Negative aspects:
Sexual culture----eroticism
As everyone known, there are lot of sexual scenes such as bareness and sex in Hollywood movies. Praiseworthily, they bring liberation of sex in China. However, it leads many problems such as porno, coprology, carnalism and one-night love.
Violent culture----adoring violence
Typical violent movies such as 007 greatly influence Chinese. A lot of people like to use violence to settle problems.

A unit of soldiers was marching a long dusty march across the rolling prairie. It was a hot blistering day and the men, longing for water and rest, were impatient to reach the next town.

A rancher rode past.

"Say, friend", called out one of the men, "how far is it to the next town?"

"Oh, a matter of two miles or so, I reckon," called back the rancher. Another long hour dragged by, and another rancher was encountered.

"How far to the next town?" the men asked him eagerly.

"Oh, a good two miles."

A nearly half hour longer of marching, and then a third rancher. "Hey, how far's the next town?"

"Not far," was the encouraging answer, "only about two miles."

"Well," sighed the optimistic sergeant, "thank God, we're holding our own, anyhow!"
