Communication in your life

On the last course, I learned the “Communicating in Your Life”, I got the many knowledge’s from this charter.

l  The importance of Communication

Communication skills include the ability to use language accurately---use proper grammar, choose words precisely, and spell correctly. They also include the ability to speak, teach, counsel, debate, and listen. So, whether you realize it or not, your success in life is dependent upon your communication skills.

l  The Purposes of Communication

In our life, we all use communication for five basic purposes:

1. to establish and build goodwill

2. to persuade

3. to obtain or share information

4. to establish personal effectiveness

5. to build self-esteem.

If you ask me, which one is the best important? I think I will answer “they are equal”.

l  The Communication Process

When you begin to communication the idea, you will use the communication process, it’s including five components:

1) the sender,

2) the message,

3) the receiver,

4) the feedback,

5) the channel.

I know this is very basis, but let me pay attention to communication particular in my current job.

l  Communication Media

Usually, we will use Speaking, Writing, Reading & listening in our daily life, which media is most important to your planned careers or in your current jobs? They’re also equal, their importance to your success, how to proper use them, need us to find out.
