The Ten Commandments are a cornerstone of moral guidelines to be followed by the Jewish and Christian faiths. What does Islam say about these commandments? The same teachings are in the Quran because the message was given by the same God (all praise be unto Him). Below is the passage from Exodus 20:1-17 of the Bible (in bold), renumbered (using the Catholic numbering) as Ten Commandments. References from the Quran (in italic) regarding similar rules are listed in conjunction with the Biblical text. “God spoke, and these were His words: “I am the Lord your God who brought you out of Egypt, where you were slaves. 1 “Worship no god but me.” …your God is One God: submit then your wills to Him… [Quran 22:34] And He is Allah: there is no god but He. To Him be praise, at the first and at the last… [Quran 28:70] Know, therefore, that there is no god but God [Quran 47:19] 2 “Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth. Do not bow down to any idol or worship it, because I am the Lord your God and I tolerate no rivals. I bring punishment on those who hate me and on their descendants down to the third and fourth generation. But I show my love to thousands of generations of those who love me and obey my laws.” Lo! Abraham said to his father Azar: ‘Takest thou idols for gods? For I see thee and thy people in manifest error. [Quran 6:74] Remember Abraham said: ‘O my Lord, make this city one of peace and security; and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols. [Quran 14:35] For ye do worship idols besides God, and ye invent falsehood. The things that ye worship besides God have no power to give you sustenance: then seek ye sustenance from God, serve Him and be grateful to Him: to Him will be your return. [Quran 29:17] 3 “Do not use my name for evil purposes, for I, the Lord your God, will punish anyone who misuses my name.” make not God’s name an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One who heareth and knoweth all things. [Quran 2:224] Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. [Quran 55:78] 4 “Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy. You have six days in which to do your work, but the seventh day is a day of rest dedicated to me. On that day no one is to work—neither you, your children, your slaves, your animals, nor the foreigners who live in your country. In six days I, the Lord, made the earth, the sky, the seas, and everything in them but on the seventh day I rested. That is why I, the Lord, blessed the Sabbath and made it holy.” The Sabbath was only made for those who disagreed as to its observance; but God will judge between them on the Day of Judgement, as to their differences. [Quran 2:124] "According to Islam, the Sabbath was instituted with the Law of Moses to the Jewish people. The Jews observe Saturday as the Sabbath. Many Christians observe Sunday as a day of worship, while some Christians observe Saturday. Their dispute will be decided on the Day of Judgement. With the revelation of the Quran, the Muslims were emancipated from this observance. They are to observe the Friday congressional prayer.” (Note 2159, The Meaning of the Holy Quran) O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (The Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the remembrance of God, and leave off business (and traffic): that is best for you if ye but knew! [Quran 62:9] 5 “Respect your father and your mother, so that you may live a long time in the land that I am giving you.” …Worship none but God; treat with kindness your parents and kindred, and orphans and those in need; speak fair to the people… [Quran 2:83] Thy Lord hath decreed that ye worship none but Him, and that ye be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honour. [Quran 17:23] I have enjoined on man kindness to his parents… [Quran 46:15] 6 “Do not commit murder.” …if anyone slew a person—unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land—it would be as if he slew the whole people… [Quran 5:32] nor take life—which God has made sacred—except for just cause. [Quran 17:33] Those who invoke not, with God, any other god, nor slay such life as God has made sacred, except for just cause, nor commit fornication—and any that does this meets punishment. [Quran 25:68] 7 “Do not commit adultery.” Nor come nigh to unlawful sex for it is a shameful (deed) and an evil, opening the road to other evils. [Quran 17:32] Those who invoke not, with God, any other god, nor slay such life as God has made sacred, except for just cause, nor commit fornication—and any that does this meets punishment. [Quran 25:68] 8 “Do not steal.” As to the thief, male or female, cut off his or her hands: A punishment by way of example, from God, for their crime: and God is exalted in power and full of wisdom. [Quran 5:38] This follows the principle that ‘if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off and cast them from thee’ Mathew 18:8. During the age of Jesus thieves were crucified, Mathew 27:38. Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to God, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be against rich or poor: for God can best protect both. Follow not the lusts or your hearts, lest ye swerve and if ye distort justice or decline to do justice, verily God is well-acquainted with all that ye do. [Quran 4:135] It is those who believe not in the signs of God that forge falsehood: It is they who lie! [Quran 16:105] O ye who believe! Fear God and always say a word directed to the Right: That He may make your conduct whole and sound and forgive you your sins: He that obeys God and His Messenger has already attained the highest achievement. Maybe i am not the happiest person in the world ,i still thank the god for bringing him to my side!From the time that i knew there wouldn't be an utimate result , many times i considered that i should release my hand and give you absolutly free life .But every time you ran to me and embraced me in you arms ,i knew that i didn't have enough courage to get away from you !Every happy thing is because of love ,but at the same time love can also result sorrow\grief.We have loved each other so deeply for more than three year,and nothing can change our love ,but i can't understand we can't have a promising future .It is your family's problem,and it's also yours , you just told me like that .

Many people said that the two people who love each other mustn't get along with each other all their life. We are just the example.However ,why it is just me!!!

But ,dear ,i really love you,very very much!

THE IDENTITY IN THE FINGERPRINT

While it is stated in the Qur'an that it is easy for Allah to bring man back to life after death, peoples' fingerprints are particularly emphasized:

Yes, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. (Qur'an, 75:4)

The emphasis on fingerprints has a very special meaning. This is because shapes and details on everyone's fingerprint are unique to each individual. Every person who is alive or who has ever lived in this world has a set of unique fingerprints. Furthermore, even identical twins having the very same DNA sequence have their own set of fingerprints.
Fingerprints attain their final shape before birth and remain the same for a lifetime unless a permanent scar appears. That is why fingerprints are accepted as a very important proof of identity, exclusive to their owner. The science of fingerprints has been used as a non-erring identity determination method.
However, what is important is that this feature of fingerprints was only discovered in the late 19^th century. Before then, people regarded fingerprints as ordinary curves without any specific importance or meaning. However in the Qur'an, Allah points to the fingertips, which did not attract anyone's attention at that time, and calls our attention to their importance. This importance has only been fully understood in our day.

The validity of the technique to establish identity by means of fingerprints (AFS) has been confirmed by various police organisations over the last 25 years and is a legally approved method. No technology of identity verification in our time gives such effective results as fingerprints. Using fingerprints to establish identity has been used in legal processes for the last 100 years and possesses international acceptance. “What is a Fingerprint?,” (www.ridgesandfurrows.

In his book Fingerprint Techniques A.A. Moenssens analyses the way that each individual has a unique set of fingerprints:

i never tought in my life know a muslim... i was just closed to christians... my toughts about muslims were so bad, that i even can realize how bad i tought about them... but that was just because of the stupid news that shows alot of information wrong about muslims... and islam...

it's strange i know... but i love Islam people... they have a difrent wise about the world..they have a new world... i cant explain, i just feel it.

of course i dont like some people from islam

like this guy

everyone has the option of choose which religion wants, and force people to assume a religion that they dont want to be is insane...

Everyday, i learn so much with my muslim friends, and they show me alot of things, that i never knew

Even being hated, for some muslims, i love them all :):)

i'm so confused,college life is supposed to be not this hard ,my classmates work so hard,and there isn't so much fun around here,what i'm i gonna do ,i don't want waste my yonth on studying~life is much more than that .how's college life around the world?should i go abroad,will i feel lonely then,what i'm i gonna do ?

"LOST".Its a title of the movie one of my university professor introduced to me and Im addicted!!!Though its 30 after 12 am,Im gonna watch that!!!!The good part is coming up!!Next time I write a dialy a little more longer.
