to those with whom i shared salt and sugar

The reason for which i decided to add the second and possibly the last entry to my blog is that i'm returning home to Belarus in a few days and i won't be able to stay in touch with all those nice people i met here anymore.

I never expected that such an abstract thing like writing to people whom i've never seen in my life can teach me practical things, provide me with knowledge in different fields and in some way even appear to be material!..Being a member of ebaby society brought me various experience, i mean it!

I want to thank from the bottom of my heart every single person that i met here, no matter if s/he left dirty footprints in my soul or seeded flowers.

I can't but mention those people whose letters often appeared in my letter-box:

mesutsayin-thank you so much for discussing religious matters!

mouadtaiseer-for kind comments on my photos!

darua,anlonq-for writing in Russian!

gshankar68-for all nice poems and pictures!

l.pharaoh-for making me drink milk before i go to sleep!

LeO-for sobriety in each letter!

bwaru mido-for similar destiny!

amr200500-for touching sincerity!

wurstkind-for helping to appreciate nice people!

markinhus-for cheerful mail!

and lanka_boy-for writing messages!

Thanks to all of you, i swear that each of you has his place in my heart! and i'm sorry if i've forgotten to mention anyone, but i'm grateful to everyone who was no farther than a mail away and whose letters put smile on my face!

Thanks! :* ;)

what one means when he says 'friends'

what one means when he says 'friends'

a person known to the world under the name rita (or to cut a long story short-me) had been a member of ebaby for a few months when she thought through all the thing of 'englishbaby'.if one takes a look at most ebaby's forms he'll find out there are two reasons for which people come here:to improve their english and to make friends.i drove this conclusion from my own experience.

what for english practise-that's all right, when at ebaby one has nothing to do but to practise.

but friends?i just can't understand the thing with friends-why do ebaby users think it's enough to add a person to your friends' list for friendship?personally i have about 40 'friends' and have never even spoken(i mean written) to half of them, nor have they!

won't anybody tell me what's the use of sending invitations then?does it add them self-confidence when they see how many people are their 'friends' or what?

i would be happy to learn public opinion on this subject..
