Earthquake-Chengdu

5.12.2008. A day to remember...

I surfed on the net on May, 12th in Wuhan, when the earth quake took place in Wenchuan, a small town of Sichuan province, which is quite close to Chengdu where my university situated.

Later when I watched the news on TV, I got that lots of citizens around Chengdu suffered a lot. Thousands of people lost family, houses collapsed, many lost their lives...Earthquake frightened everyone, both at home and abroad...

I feeled that I was very lucky because I planned to go back to Chengdu for travel, and after that I return to the university to attend the graduation ceremony...

But plan changed, and luck arrived.

I went to a beautiful and safe city for travel, which suffers not a little from the earthquake...I sent messages to my teachers and friends there, knowing that all of them are safe...But they still feeled scared, and lived outside when it was raining...

Chengdu, is named a city that you once come and never want to leave by a famous director. It is such a city. Hope everyone pray for this beautiful city!

I went to different places recently...and had a great time ...

Guangzhou( three days ago)

Wuhan( now)

Later I am going to Hangzhou, then Shanghai...in the meantime, maybe Ningbo, Taizhou are also my destinations...

Fresh Smell of April

April,approaching quitely towards me,brings me so fresh smell of flowers.It's said that peachblossoms are in bloom in the spring and magnetize swarms of people to witness their beauty.Also in China,one saying goes:anyone who views peachblossoms his or her luck in love affairs will change.I doubt this saying although I have neverenjoyed the peachblossoms.I dont know where did this saying originated,however,I believe many people will hold this.Anyway,it's a kind of bliss which perhaps attracts love and happiness to people.I wish I have the chance to enjoy the peachblossoms one day,and experience the natural beauty of spring instead of other purposes. Somehow the climate here changes a lot.Sunshine seldom comes out and the sky seems to be covered by a bank of mist.Guys often feel lazy and like to hide in the quilt.So do I.Reading my favorite poem while sitting on the bed,I sense the tranquility and sunshine of my soul.Life is socozy,sky becomes so blue,clouds get so white... I went in for a model test of TOEIC this afternoon,which left to be desired.I fancied it was the same as the formal one,whereas,it wasn't.Not to mention the level of difficulty,the organizational works were not satisfactory.Many a examinee were late for the test,making some noises in the exam room.In addition,the proctor had said candidates could not hand in their papers ahead of time,nonetheless the majority did.The sound effects also failed to meet my expectations, some words couldn't be heard very clearly.Anyway,although it is a model test,yet it should be organized well and show the differences between TOEIC and the other English tests initiated by China.The result is said to be published in 17th,April,on the official website.

Time pass so fast! October is approaching near. I have been in chengdu for one month.

Every time when I stand beside the window, I would think of a lot. my childhood, my school life, my friends in guangdong, my mummy and daddy, my younger brother...and then I lost in thought...

Mummy and daddy, I miss you so much! you must be healthy , happy...

This is my new blog in english. I have got one in chinese before this.
