After I read the article Wake-up Call for “Real Man” I think that no matter we are female or male, both of us should know how to protect ourselves. Nowadays, we face plenty of pressure. What is worse, we even do not know how to cope with it. For instance, as a man, he is driven by the internalized messages of competition, invulnerability, control, emotional suppression, and independence, so when symptoms occur…---he has learned to not acknowledge them and tough it out alone leaving them isolated from information, interventions, and support. As a female, we are taught that we can depend on men, and men are the bone of the families. We follow their order and bring up kids by taking great pains. We do not have the self-consciousness, and in the inmost recesses of our thought we believe in family is more important than any other things. It is not easy to be a person, though we just exist in this world in the way of having a travel. Ever since I was a child I have had this feeling of apartness, we have various kinds of feeling, sometimes it is out of our control. No matter male or female, we often feel excluded; it is all for we are never try to reach out to another person emotionally.Although changing mankind psychology is hard, and grows even harder as person ages, our society must engage us in learning about our bodies, allowing health assessments, and generally improving lifestyles habits to give mankind vitality and longevity we think we deserve.
