Unless we get luck and arrange an ideal job through family connections. We shall join the huge pack of people who must hunt work on their own after leaving school. How can we succeed in the job-hunting?Many people often say that they are not well-prepared; we can not afford the intense competition. But what I want to say is nobody can be well-prepared for anything. What we really want to say is we are not familiar with them, we are afraid. Then we should be confident, confidence is the first step on the road to success. Facing the more and more fierce competition, we should be able to demonstrate our knowledge, skills and commitment that others do not have. Secondly we must know ourselves and the society, whether you are an introvert or extrovert, you are required to boldly explain in five to sixty minutes why you are qualified. Though, many of us think that personality determines one’s destiny, when we face the thing so related to our life, everyone will try their best. I am a reserved and quite person, sometimes I may be confused why we should grow up, but now I know it clearly that no one wants to grow up, but we need to grow. It is the reality. Thirdly, preparation, this time it refers to prepare what we can prepare.

What a student should do on the road to learn English? In my opinion, interest is important. As we all known, interest is the best teacher. Therefore, firstly, we should inspire students’ interest in English. For instance, we can play games with them in English, sing English songs, and watch English movies (especially English cartoons, such as Tom and Jerry) to name just the same. To sum up we should establish an English learning environment for our students. Secondly, encourage them to use English after class. As the saying goes” Practices make perfect.”  So, as a student, he or she should speak as much as possible. Thirdly, it is obvious that a language composes of four important aspects, speaking, writing, listening, reading, and there is no exception to English. Even if we are at the beginning of studying English, we should combine these four things together. As the old Chinese saying” A good beginning is half done.” Students should form a good habit of learning English, custom makes all things easy. Fourthly, determination and concentration. We should make a decision before we do any things; it is something like make a goal. The following is to pay attention to your goal. A man can not spin and reel at the same time. As we were young, we all learned the story about a cat how to learn fishing, so we should know that it is bad for our learning to do any distracted things. Last but not least, persistence (the most important thing). According to my own experience, persistence and diligence bring luck. Persistence is a powerful strength for human beings. Everyone is looking for the easiest way to success, however, what I want to say is that no pay, no gains, and if you want to succeed, then the persistence is the easiest way to it. Constant dripping wears away a stone.

2008 Beijing Olympic Games just passed, and my 2008 summer holiday also came to the end. Most of the time I just like a tortoise, be stuck in my little world. Though it was neither exciting nor wonderful, I enjoyed it very much, for I could arrange the time in my own way, when to read, listen, watch TV, do exercise, to name just a few. Absolutely, there was something different in this vacation. It was impressive to me. I stayed nine days with my nephew, and my major task was to help him learn English, besides that I was required to check all his homework. At the beginning, I was full of confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. However, with the time goes by slowly, finally, I recognized that relentless fact was I did not have the ability to teach him, more exactly, he was beyond of my control. There were many reasons for my failure, and the main reason was that I was not the qualified person which I must admit. It was one thing, for another, he was a peevish boy, and I would be angry at him easily at any time. He never listened to me, and even became hate me. I was so frustrated when I realized it, so I wanted to give up. He was a clever boy, but his attitude toward study was really a problem----he was reluctant to study, if I did not shout at him, he would not do whateverI asked him to do. I was tired of shouting at him at the end, and went home to enjoy my life where was filled with freedom. I think study needs self-consciousness, so my dear nephew, you should be an independent person and take responsibility for your our future, I wish you have a bright future. After came back, I began to think about marriage seriously. To my disappointment, marriage was not a sweet thing. Before I saw my sister and my brother in law fight against each other fiercely, I thought marriage at least was not a battle. Nevertheless, now I should reconsider it. We female people gave one hundred percent of our effort to establish a family, but what we got at last a betrayed husband and a mischievous child. What would you feel at that moment? Why we should get married? Once I saw a woman at a glance, immediately I reminded of her son, their appearance was extremely like. (They looked like the same one.) Then I know the genuine significance of marriage was to continue the family line. It may be regarded as a counterbalance to the mankind who are not ageless creature to last their short life.
