Today , May 18th , we celebrate the International Day of the Museums in every  countries around the world . Visiting a museum is simply something very good , because we know better historical data from the past of a town , city or country of the globe . Having contact lwith important documents or very aged objects is always a very welcome cultural activity . At the moment , I am thinking at the spectacular museums from the European Continent , showing off master -pieces such as the widely renowned Monalisa , whose also is was the very intelligent human creature known as Leonardo Da Vinci , a very famous Italian artist . That lovely painting is also called as Gioconda . Saint Petersburg , the second biggest Russian city , after Moscow , the capital , and also considered one of the most beautiful places of the globe , is simply a museum-city , because of the quantity and excellent qualitiy of its museums , which are always impressing their lucky seven million inhabitants and the million visitors who visit the adorable Russian city per year . At those artistical places , we learn a lot about the historical characters ,such as Napoleon Bonaparte , Queen Victoria , Alexander the Great , Cleopatra , etc , and the personal manners of they living their daily lives .
