Chinese Valentine’s Day

Do you know that August 7th this year is the Chinese Valentine’s Day?hehe,this is a really interesting traditional festival.In lunar calendar of China,this day surely comes on July 7th every year,and on August 7th in solar calendar this year.Chinese young people will value this chance to show their love to their lover as they do on the February 14th .

There is a legend telling us how this day comes up.Once upon a time,an angel ran away out of the Heaven and met a cowboy in the place where we live,and got married with him without the permission of the Heaven,as we know,the Heaven would never allow them to do so.So a Goddess prisoned the angel in the sky which is the Vega,while the cowboy became the Altair,however,they are separated by the Milky Way(which is called “the Silver River” in Chinese).The God allows them to meet each other once a year for one day after the Heaven are moved by their love,and,that day comes on the July 7th in Chinese lunar calendar!

On this day,all the pied magpies will fly towards the sky and get together to form a bridge across the “Silver River”(I like to call the Milky Way the Silver River because of this bridge,hehe),on which the cowboy and the angel can get together,too.It is always rainy on this day,while it’s said the couple’s tears become the rain.So maybe you’d better prepare an umbrella on this day,hehe.

Do you like this legend?hehe,so well prepare a nice gift for your lover,and show your love on this day,she/he must be moved then!Chinese young girls will pray on this day so that they can meet a charming guy,while boys will gift their beloved girl,and young couple pray for a baby and so on.What will you do on this day?hehe,would you mind telling me?

A love stoty without end

M not good at telling a story,but I typed this story to share it with all the friends to put up with an end together.Here is the story:

Once there was an unlucky boy,left by his ex-girlfriend,failed an important exam which would affect his entire future,so he had to leave home to a remote province to study in a really bad university.

Lonely,despaired,extremely disappointed…he was living without smile,or even without mind,had no idea towards future.

Until one day,he met a cute girl on the internet,and showed love at the 3^rd day!

(How reckless was this boy,hehe)

They met each other everyday on the internet and chatted about their life,interest,dream…

This boy once told himself,no,you didn’t love her,she was worse than what u imagination,just be a friend!But he failed,and knew that,he had deeply fallen in love with her.

Gradually,the boy realised he should not ruin her future like this and he couldn’t promise this girl a good future because of distance,they r too far away from each other..If the story must go towards an end,he would rather they have no a start.

The one who loves most leaves first

There once r two lovers.They both love each other deeply.The boy promises,I will love u forever.

But one day the boy is sick and will die because of an incurable disease.After then,the girl brings food to him in hospital from home everyday,until one day she finds the boy is being with another girl patient.So the girl is so broken-hearted and says to the boy,I love u so much,so I choose to leave first.And leaves with tears.

Afterwards,the boy says to the another girl,thank u for helping us each other,and says to himself,yep, The one who loves most leaves first.

This is just a story in Chinese I read years ago,and I typed it in English…for something.No need to suppose too much.I like some lyrics someone likes too,”I will choose to go back to be alone for u””I give up the forever for love to u””leave u,just for u,hurt u pretending to be cruel”

Nanchang,Olympic,Earthquake

Nanchang,Olympic,Earthquake

Today,the Olympic torch was transmitted in my city.I chased the torch relay with many other people but saw nothing!People ran and ran and guessed where the torch could be transmitted past.For me,waled for more the 5 hours to catch a glance at the torch,even only for a short second!

We meant to go to a famous square named “Ba Yi Square” named after “ August 1st” in memory of a revolution happening on August 1st..But considering the situation that most of people welcomed the torch there,we changed our way there to another place.

We found a place in the opposite of Tengwang Hall,a famous hall in China,by the street side,and not many people.After a long time,we were informed the torch was transmitted in the bus past us,which we cheered for,but didn't know the torch was in it!

Then we set up our mind to WALK to another square quite far away!In the half way,we saw somewhere a lot of people gathered,we found the true Olympic torch after we came up!and I took some photos shown in my album ,just next to the torch!(this athlete had transmitted the holly fire)

In the end,we saw nothing after being there because of too many people,but still amazed to see the torch earlier.I think that is the luckiest thing for me today!

What makes me feel more lucky is,the torch will be transmitted on July 31st in my hometown,when I am in my summer holiday!So if you come to China,come to my hometown on July 31st,contact me,yilonglucky@yahoo.cn

Words above were written on last Friday,but too tired to upload to Ebaby!All people that day prayed for the victims in 5.12 earthquake,and this afternoon,all people around our our country observed three minutes’ silence in memory of the victims.I told my friends,all that we can do is do our recent business well,most importantly,we should learn to value our family,our friends and everything we have got!

My speech two days ago

Hello,everyone!I’m really honored to share something about Olympic that I feel in my heart with you.

Maybe we have no chance to watch altheles competing sitting in the gym,or join in the Olympic Event ourselves.However,we can also focus on the games and competers from TV,newspapers and so on.But in my opinion,what we learn from Olympics is more important.

To tell the truth,I’m a little sorry to stand here again.I was always recalling the scene that I joined the speech competetion last time.When I was giving my speech on the stand,one judge shook her head continuesly,so I was just drowned by the tesion and too nervers to behave myself and forgot my words.And,the results are evident!

After that,an idea flashed into my mind:even though others shake their heads towards you,what you should do is just to keep confidence and Never Give Up!I think that’s just the soul of the Olympics.

And I think of another scene.It’s in 1968,in Mexico City Olympic Games,Tanzanis’s Marathon althele Aihawali was injured accidently in the halfway.The ambulance staff tried to persuded him to quit the competetion.However,Aihawali continued running with his injuded leg.It had been more than two hours after the champion crossed the finish line .Most of the audience had left for home.But when Aihawili stepped into the gym,the rest of the audience began to appouse for him.It was a touching scene.When asked why not simply quit the race,Aihawali laughed gentlely and said only one sentence:My country is not to send me here to hear the sound of the gun,just to cross the first line!”

Years passed,the champion has been forgotten,but Aihawali’s story is always being talked about,especially the spirit of “Never Give Up”!

I don’t think I can do that in Olympic,but what what’s true meaning of Olympic?That’s just to try to do better in your life and never give up simplely!Work well everyday and gain progress at the same time.That’s what I do as a means to take part in Olympic!I believe you can do that,too,will you?
