Resources from the orgnization committee remarked that the eldest participant is 95 years old while the youngest one is only 10.Apart from Hangzhou,readers from US,and other cities like Shanghai,Wuhan,Shenzhen,Shaoxing,Huzhou etc.have also send us their voting preferences.
One of the readers undersigned as 'Ding Fu' names his recommended 10 Scenic spots as the following:
Yongfuchanyin,Maoxiangjinghong,Santaimengji,Meiwuyinming,Hupanfeiquan,Shuangqiaowobo,Wansongfuwen,Jinniuxianrui,Qingbofanzhou,Dingshanhuayun etc.
Apart from the 10 names for individual Scenic Spots,a group name is also required. At present we have received the entries like ' Top 10 new Millennium West Lake Scenic Spots ',' Top 10 new century West Lake Scenic Spots ','Top 10 Scenic Spots || ',' Top 10 new West Lake Scenic Spots ' etc.
The orgnization committee is to invite experts is history,literature,linguistic etc. to select the final top 2 entries for the group name and top 20 scenic spots.Meanwhile, a DIY tour route design competition will be held for participants to link these 20 Scenic Spots together in the most efficient and convenient way for tourists.
Lastly,after combning with the citizens voting and experts comments,the final results will be announed at the opening ceremony of the West Lake Expo in October and results publicized for a week.
The 3rd Vote for Top 10 West Lake Scenic Spots will be to the end of July.Photos and introductions to the 145 entries were published on Hangzhou Daily Dated June 22,2007.You may get on www.hangzhou.com.cn or www.hzwestlake.com to view the entries as well.
