Time is short.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?

You better slow down

Ever told your child,
We’ll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say “hi”

You miss half the fun of getting there.

amirlashkari22 Iran, Islamic Republic Of	Yeah, you've comprehended it well. Of course life needs fast and quick activities and movements, but every activity can support and bear an inside calmness, which is much bigger than the rush.

MsYoanne Poland	wow. That's really great - I mean something different because lately I've heard e.g. in TV and on many websites opinions that main goal is : always be in rush. It's kind of stressful. And it's nice to see something like this. It's very helpful from time to time to just ... slow down :)
