Hi*
Iranian new year is coming up.
our new year starts exactly in the first day of spring & we celebrate the 13 first days of spring called NOWROOZ. Nowrooz means (new day).
We spread a table cloth & design it with 7 things that starts with (s) in persian alphabet. like apple, clock, hyacinth,coin...& called this Haftseen means ( seven s).
People go eachother`s homes because of greeting new year & elders give presents ( commonly money) to youngeast members of family .
Nowrooz is a ancient ceremony in Iran.
