How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I love thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for right.
I love thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Love this poem too.

I think I should read other poems by this poet. But I do not get much impression on this poem. Just feel quite familiar with the title...

Interests

spending to mutch time on my computer, art, astrology, poetry, party

AL THINGS BEAUTIFULL: =========================== poetry, art, music, nature, people, love, humor, LIFE... =========================== BOOKS: =========================== I read a lot. Art, poetry, astrology, philosophy, SF, fantasy, history... well... let's say I have a broad range of interests, I'm very curious and fond of research, so I read almost everything I can get my hands on. =========================== COMIC BOOKS: =========================== My dad started collecting "strips" (that's how we call comics here in Belgium) when he was a kid. At an early age my brother and I were infected with the comic-virus, we fell in love, we never recovered and now we continue the tradition =========================== GAMES: =========================== I love games, all games: computer games, puzzles, chess or cards games at home with some friends, outdoor games like paintball, laser-game... I love everything that involves some tactics and strategy. I hate to loose and I'm not very good at it so i have a tendency to just keep playing until i have won, even if it takes all night. =========================== PULP & KITCH: =========================== crazy vintage stuff, grind-house movies, weird plastic toys, grandmothers wallpaper, everything freakish, a fireplace on dvd, garden gnomes... I find that some things can be so ugly and wrong that they become beautiful again.

Authority, obligations, duties, rules, clockworks, schedules, lists, materialism, money (the fact i have to use it, not the things you can get with it), administration, waiting rooms, public transportation, the smell of ether and chloor in hospitals, doctors, dentists, narrow minded people, hypocritical people, the system we live in, dishonesty, being told what to think/believe/do =========================== bad excuses ( if you're going to lie and make up a story, at least do the effort to make it original and interesting, poor and obvious excuses are extremely irritating, as is the fact that you insult someone twice; you lie and you find it not even worth the effort of doing it well)

that typical 60's orange

at the risc of being pollitical incorrect: meat, meat, meat! lol, lamb especially, and bacon.

coca cola

club, rock, folk, classic, oldies, everything nice ... =========================== Something I will never grow tired of: =========================== "Stabat Mater" - Pergolesi Giovanni-Battista ¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨¨ soprano: Emma Kirkby / countertenor: James Bowman / The academy of ancient music / conducted by: Christopher Hogwood

I am a huge Tim Burton fan, I love everything he makes. =========================== Some other favorites: =========================== Planet Terror - True romance - Sin City - Pulp Fiction - Meet the Feebles - The dark christal - Monthy python's Holy grale, Life of Brian, Meaning of life - LOTR - Mad Max - Ghost in the shell - Akira - Fight club - Snatch - .... =========================== what the bleep do we now?
