Salam, Thankyou yes it was a very good story. It really touched me, I thought to share it. If I may ask you, you and I share a friend here, she has written a book from what I understand, do you by chance know if that book is obtainable? I went to the publishing webpage she had listed there, I typed in the reference number for the book but didnt seem to be there. I would really like to read that book if I could find it. I wonder if you might know?

Salam dear Ugur. Hope you are doing well. InshAllah.

I read your message yesterday, but I couldn't answer.(I have some problems with my pcCry).

So, about your questions... To say the truth, it wasn't my wish to be a teacher. I wanted to be a lawyer, diplomat...But my parents didn't want. So, I became a student of this faculty. And 1 more information, I had chosen it by mistake.Smile

I don’t know whether u know sth about famous Azerbaijani poet Ahmad Javad. He is the author of lyrics of our anthem. He was the great lover of freedom, one of the cultural leaders of Azerbaijani independence movement in 1918 that resulted with the foundation of the 1st republic in the East. Ahmad Javad was the supporter the ideas called “Turanchiliq”. He was imprisoned and put to death during Soviet NKVD’s repression in 1937 with the claims of being panturkist and panislamist that considered greatest crimes at that time. His wife and 3children were sent to different penal servitudes in Russia. He believed in unified Turkish state- Turan- and, dedicated unforgettable poems to the places where this great nation lives. Here is the poem that he dedicated to Istanbul where he spend some years of his youth. Hope u’ll like it.   İstanbul  Mən sevdiyim mərmər sinəli yarın,Deyirlər, qoynunda yabançı əl var.Baxıb üfüqlərə, uzaq yollara,Ağlayırmış mavi gözlər axşamlar. Ah, ey solğun üzlü, dalğın İstanbul,Mavi gözlərin çox bayğın, İstanbul. Mənim sevdiyim qız dünya gözəli,Ona bu dünyada eş yaranmamış.Deyirlər, könlünü fələk pozalı,Sürməli telləri heç daranmamış. Ah, ey solğun üzlü, dalğın İstanbul,Mavi gözlərin çox bayğın, İstanbul. Qırıq dala qonmuş dün yavru bir quş, Ondan xəbər verdi, gözüm yaşardı.Gəl, zavallı könlüm sorma nə olmuş,Sormakı sevdiyin kimlərə vardı? Ah, ey solğun üzlü, dalğın İstanbul,Mavi gözlərin çox bayğın, İstanbul. Deyirlər sevdiyim qız komasında,Baxırkən qırıq rübab telinə,Uçurkən şeirlər sevdasında,Bir ilan sarılmış incə belinə. Ah, ey solğun üzlü, dalğın İstanbul,Mavi gözlərin çox bayğın, İstanbul. Ey yolum üstündə yüksələn dağlar,Gizlin sevda üçün çırpınan dəniz,Yol verin, yol verin, mənim dərdim var,Qeyb etdim yolumu, qaldım kimsəsiz. Ah, ey solğun üzlü, dalğın İstanbul,Mavi gözlərin çox bayğın, İstanbul. Bu qəlbimdə qopan yanıq bir fəryadÇəkdiyim dərdlərin tərcümanımı?Yoxdumu kimsədən könlümə imdad,Bu, bəxtsiz sevdamın son zamanımı? Ah, ey solğun üzlü, dalğın İstanbul,Mavi gözlərin çox bayğın, İstanbul. Ya Rəb, bilməzmiydin qələmi sən dəKi qırdın sazımın canlı telini?Doğurkən yenicə bir ümid məndə,Neyçün məyus etdin Turan elini? Ah, ey solğun üzlü, dalğın İstanbul,Mavi gözlərin çox bayğın, İstanbul.

Amin!!!

She is a victim of Islamic phobia which is gratuitous.
