Yeah the pure philosophy of Buddhism is a different story.
I’m not Buddhist. But I often read Buddhist’s Heart Sutra. I need it to wash my soul.
Heart Sutra is key concept of Buddhism. It is the most popular Sutra. It express emptiness of 5 skandhas. The 5 skandhas are: form, feeling, conception, volition, and consciousness.
I only know a very few about Buddhism. I’m learning.

I have to include that, Buddhism arts and architectures in Thailand also very much mixed up with Hinduism and Indian mythology.
It’s a kind of transfered and modified form of what and where we got them.. Mainly, India, Cambodia, and Sri Langka. (In case you go up to northern part, you can sense the scent of Burmese arts too)
It’s sort of a mixed up of cultures and traditions and ancient belief, legends, and such things..
IMO, The pure philosophy of Buddhism is a different story from the appearance of arts and architectures here…
He he..It’s quite hard for me to explain it in English though – -’

I usually go to Phuket on short vacation. I’ve been to Bangkok twice, but I had not enough time to visit wat and the Chao Phraya. It’s a pity. If I go to Koh Samui in January of next year. I must visit Bangkok again.
Woooooo…... I’m thinking of my favorite grilled tiger prawn and tom yum kun (just a very little chili pepper please hehe), Phat Thai, stir fried morning glory…...
