I like British English. But I'm learning both: British and American. It's very interesting to compare them. It's useful, anyway.

Right now im taking up American Accent Training  as a part of my course curriculum, and i find it very interesting and rewarding.  GENERAL AMERICAN accent is the accent perceived by most Americans to be most neutral and free of regional characteristics.  But just like BRITISH Received Pronunciation as well as the most standard languages varieties of many other societies (- was never the accent of the entire nation), and is also subdivided into many diferent dialects.

The two accent group in English pronunciation distinguishes the differences of accents of the two. Most Americans are RHOTIC (pronounce R in all positions), while most British are NON-RHOTIC (can be linking R or intrusive R)...

i hope you learn something with this  brief explanation… Studying English was fun and exciting isn't it?...

I suppose that it’s in British english that the historical traditions of the language are preserved. Yes, American is easier, but it’s getting too simplified. Well, maybe it’s not so bad?

British English is only slightly more complicated. However, if you speak with a British accent, Americans and Canadians will think that you are really cool.

However, England has so many various regional dialects and pronunciations.
