Some difficulties in using some words in english

Dear all,

Here we are learning, so if you've some important informations/ideas/new things…. let's know. 

Distinguish between the use of : wage, salary, fare, income, pension

wage = money paid dayly, weekly or monthly to workmen/servants

salary = money paid monthly/yearly to professional people

fare = money paid a journey or a trip

income = the total money earned/ received yearly

pension = money paid at known periods to employees/servants no loger at work owing to age/incapacity

 The difinition of these words were picked up from an english book.

If you know other difficult distinguishment between words in english please let's learn.
