Hi.

I want to know that when do you use "I deserve you."

I watched a drama and also a movie. And I heard the phrase.

But I still don't understand what that means.

I know the meaning of "you deserve it."

If anyone describe it, that would be helpful.

Thank you.

"I deserve you" IS rather like "I deserve it"!

It can expressed from a positive or negative standpoint,

as in "Since I have been very good I must deserve

someone wonderful like you!",or the more usual

"What terrible thing did I do to deserve you?".

The phrase would almost never be used to indicate

actual ownership of another person!

Good luck,and I hope this helps…
