What does it mean for the adjective "to-die-for"

Today I am reading a essay about beaf steaks.  I don't know what is the meaning

for the following sentence:

 The steaks – and the to-die-for sides are perfect.

What does it mean for the adj "to-die-for"? does it means "wonderful", pls settle my mystery.
