What's your country's biggest festival ?

I am from China . In my country, the biggest festival is called Spring Festival . We welcome the new year during the spring festival. we clean our house a couple of days ahead and buy many goods ,for example, food, clothes and so on. and we also buy fire crackers. the days of chinese new year-spring festival family members will get together to have a big dinners. you can hear the fire crackers everywhere and we burn papers for dead family members as their money. of course we must eat dumpling with coins in it. when you can find the one with it , it means you will have a good luck this year. and the next several days we will visit out friends and family.

 too many interesting things happen during spring festival, i cant tell them all here. if you are interested , i am more than happy to tell you more about chinese culture :-)

I love spring and I love new year.

I live in Germany and I think the biggest festival here is the so called "Oktoberfest".Don´t know how it is called in english,sry!

It´s pretty popular and people all over the world are coming to this festival to celebrate with us ;)

I am Pyi Phyo from Myanmar. There are a lot fastivel in Myanmar. All Myanmar people are " Happy Go Lucky " type. So It has one fastivals in every month. Among them, new yewr fastival, water fastival " is the most famoue. At this time they clean house and thrown away some old things like Chinese new year. Our fastival last 4 days. I wish may all people good luck in this year.

at that time we meet every our family like cusion and

uncles ans grandfather,mother…..

 we have traditional korea games and foods.

we greed to older peoples and say'this new year have

In the United States there is a big celebration of all the wars we have won. It's a very short ceremony, really. Only lasts a few minutes because no one can think of any wars we've won. :)

I'd like to tell you a little bit about Algerial festival. Algeria is muslim country, so the biggests festivales are celebrated by the Islamique world. The most important ones are called "Aidd al Fitr" which comes after the holly month "ramadhan" in which the Muslim don't eat from the sun rise the sun set and stop all sins too, this holly month makes us feel about poor people that don't find what to eat so charities rises, it makes us feel able to live without doing sins, so when the holly month passes we keep on living without doing sins if we are strong enough. So after this month we celebrate "Aid Al Fitr" we make many traditional cakes days before, and prepare traditional dishes with meat.

the second festival comes 70 days after "aid Al Fitr", it's called "Aid Al Adha", it celebrates a big and important memory in Islam's history, I'll tell you about it next time.
