agreement in subject and predicate

should we use “IS“or “ARE” after “each of you”

foe example :“each of you __ responsible to the accident”

should use IS or ARE in the blanket

im not  sure  i think maybe  are

I AM NOT SURE ALSO BUT IN MY OWN TYPE , I WILL USE “IS” ... IF I CONCENTRATE ON “EACH” , BUT I WILL USE “ARE” IF I CONCENTRATE ON YOU . MAY BE WE NEED TO USE SOME WORD LIKE “ALL” AS PRESUMPTION TO “ARE” .

THIS IS WHAT WE DO IT IN ARABIC IN SUCH AS THIS SITUATION .

WE NEED TO ENGLISH TEACHER HERE TO GET THE CORRECT ANSWER :-).

Or: Each one of you is responsible for the accident. (sounds more natural)
