Hi,dear friends.I want to raise up an important issue. The USA occupied Iraq and Afghanistan by ignoring critisisms.Beside,İsrael massacres in Palestine.Children, women and older people are killed intentionally.I want to ask a question:Where is human rights, human dignity and democracy?I didn't know that democracy would be brought by occupying and attacking innocent countries. Please share your opinions about this issue.Regards.

I think that issue is really a tough one . Everything has two side. If A is from America he or she would say that they are giving democracy to the countries, but if B is from Iraq he or she would say that the USA is invading his/her motherland. But I prefer the later.'couse every country has its own culture and religion. We cann't criticise the person who don' like what we admire.

That's only my personal opinion.

hi,

War in Afghanistan started after the tragic 11 September, to ensure that the message (to make war) is well understood by the world; USA qualified the act of terrorism as an act of war and defends against aggressor. the war in Iraq It was not justified on the basis of the traditional arguments of defense against the aggressor (the Iraqi government was not involved in the terrorist attacks in the Usa, represented no threat to Americans, it did not had most of "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq). for what's happening in Palestine is also a violation and long story. (what kind of calculation can be done to justify such massacres, always described as "minimal" and "acceptable losses" ????!!!!!).USA violates the United Nations laws openly without any reaction from the developed countries!!!! emerging + underdeveloped countries cannot help. come to your question 'human rights + democracy': first in history, governments imposed them selves by war and Conquest (only the most strong and skilful imposes his rules), then later allied to religion; the democracy incorporates the idea that the government is issued from the population, yes in democracy we can change our representatives but still government has power (system) to decide. After the 11 sep democratic populations(USA, Europe) accept little by little everything that is imposed to them including their loss of liberty, I think this new democracy losts its meaning and become a way to maintain population under submission. -still the stronger and skilful imposes his rule it is indeed by nature alwyas to follow the stronger!.  Human rights is good intention but it is not sufficient, it needs means and true involvements, and good application. all countries have some kind of human right violations, just see yours(ours);  populations should participate more; liberty is not free it needs continuous effort and responsibilities, but as long as you are well at home and don’t come inside people don’t care about outside.

i'll continue later or no i am tired i say human rights in the above case is in the asses of governments.

if a government wants human rights he must be an example and he must not approach hornet house, else i do not care.

Friends,

Human Rights & democracy are the beutiful words to express.I feel these are just the curtains to cover our real feelings. every system is good if we are honest. but when we are not honest every word we say is just hypocracy,no word has it's meaning but the power that word has behind it makes a sense.

Actually it is power that add meaning all our words. Only powerful rules & what he says are the rules..

I feel that they know they are doing wrong but they insist and want to do it. I think this is their aims in these innocent countries. They just want a certain problem to happen so that they can interfere with them and send their armies there just for peace and they don’t know that they bring the opposite. How can we feel safe if non Muslims come to our countries, who don’t know our religion, our traditions, and our cultures? How can they know the human rights and this concept is what they are seeking in their countries? I just want to say that there is a day of justice and peace and these innocent people have to be little patient and have a strong belief in Allah.

I agree with thae statements that say, every kind of state has flaws and human rights violation. As well as i agree we can only built a civilized society if the government consists of honest and reliable ppl, who feel their responsibility. But i do not see or remember a single example where it all worked, and worked successfully. a.hafid, ye, none of the counties can oppose the Uncle Sam, coz most of them are afraid. That's the main reason. Following the strongest and being powered with fear – these are the factors that have always been the motivators of the human world. Is it a high time to change it? Maybe. Any ideas?.. I still have none…

Yes Fear have been always and still source of power, fear is good and bad it is good it keeps us safe from real and expected or anticipated dangers! But it is bad when we feed it or overfeed it! How to measure carefully the consequence!!??. Is the world like laboratory!?

Yes it is time to change it to look to the real fears like environment protection and energy saving …Uncle Sam is afraid from envirnment protocol nd did not join the rest of the world I think it is a great shame from a great master of democracy…

The thing is Uncle Sam does not very much bother about shame, when it concerns his deeds to others.
