Would you date someone who you like mentally but not physically? Like…imagine an ugly guy but lovely inside…would you date him?her?

Lotta ppl (especially girls) say that they dont care about the body that much but hey. They say they care about what is inside that person and I must say it is important too…But would you date someone you only like mentally? I dont think so. Btw saying that someone doesnt care about the body kinda insults because if that person likes you and tells you…it sounds like you are not his/her cup of tea:)

All in all…I d say. Boy would date a beautiful but totally silly girl. When girl would date an ugly but inteligent and in any other way atractive man.

btw I heard that women are mentally older and I must agree…Thats why boys usually date(marry) younger women. Because even though they are younger like oficially…mentally they are at the same age:)

Hmmm… you seem to have a point.
Well, it’s difficult to date somebody whom you’re not attractive with physically, really. But there are some exceptions I guess, like my lovely friend who dated a you wouldn’t call good-looking guy, but intelligent and quite influential in our group. They are now going steady for almost 2 or 3 years.

u know….i have the same discussion with guy, and he say that inside beauty is more important….i can say that yes….but i have another explanation! smart but ugly girl always can go to surgery clinick and change her face or smth else, or if she has bad body she can go to gym…the same with hair etc….all wamen are beautiful, but someone can sjow this beauty, someone just doesn't know how to do it!!..so i will continue my idea….and what about beauty girl but not smart, – nowadays due to scientiests researches, scietifics say that they can't change brain =)))))))))))))))

we must know which one is important to us,... & choose it for ourselves, therfore its depend on our interests,

but infact we must say the truth & it is about destroying step by step of all beauties & improving steady of knowledge,...

 & in a long period of time they will show their valuables , ..

if you see a pretty  one every day , after some time – sooner or later – he/she will be to you a repetitive  person , atleast you will not have the first days of loving to him/her of course if your purpose be only it…

but every day can increase the knowledge of another one ,..

 every day he /she will be  better than before …,

every time he/she can be your honorable friend ...

 every time his/her knowledge can be fresh & make him/her & you fresh too….

so, time is an important element to show which one is most important &...

worthy to be your love…..

& in difficult situations  knowledge will be useful not….

Joe: sure but clever is different with smart :) I think many girls can get a great grade but a few of them are the smart ones.

Men would date beautiful yet think-less kind of girl. but they're kinda selfish too since they want to marry a beautiful yet smart kind of girl :)

 I would like a man who at least beat me in debating because I love brainstorming and my man should be able to keep up with me in this point. I put sense of humor, brain and personality for the criteria..I don't really care about look though but I'm lucky enough when I got the bonus.lol

love must be blind. you cant fall in love with someone just because she or he is beautifull, it wont work. i always said ugly guys are better than pretty ones, they always have much more to offer that cute ones… i would date someone just for his personalitie, beauty goes away with time…

Definitively what's inside is what counts.

When you eat a fruit you throw the husk away and stay with the fruit. That's how it should be… although it's true… "man eats through his eyes"... so it's not so simple to disregard physical attraction.
