tasty fruit from my country ... did you try it once ?

this fuit is called dates  .  do you know it

it is only planted in Arabian peninsula . and especially in my country Saudi Arabia  .  these are pictures for thier trees :

yup that's my fav ^^ because dates r soooo sweet :D bwahhaahah

but in here it's more popular during Ramadhan (the fasting month for muslims)...that makes it so special…because it was eaten only in that month :D 

well still we can find them in here in another month but it's very rare :p

Dates are grown in other parts of the Middle East and Northern Africa, too, and even in China, Pakistan, and a few in the US)
I can get them here but they are a little expensive and only available dried.
