About some of the most devastating natural disasters around the world during the past forty years, The Associated Press reported: 
May 2008 .. Shake vigorously 7.9 degrees on the Richter scale hit central China, killing thousands.

May 2008 .. Hurricane "Narcissus", which struck the Myanmar (Burma) and led to the deaths of more than 30 thousand people. 
October 2005 .. Striking 7.6 degree strong earthquake in northern Pakistan and left nearly 78 thousand people dead. 

August 2005 .. Audi hurricane "Katrina", which struck the Gulf coasts of the United States, the lives of 1600 people, at least, "Louisiana" and "Mississippi." 
December 2004 .. Ruled tide waves (tsunami) in the Pacific, generated by the violent earthquake strongly 9 degrees) to 230 thousand people in a number of surrounding countries. 
December 2003 .. At least 26 thousand Iranians were killed in a shake vigorously 6.5 degrees south-eastern Iran. 

August 1999 .. Killed 17 thousand people quake, powerful 7.4 degree, in western Turkey. 

October 1998 .. At least 9 thousand people died in Hurricane "Mitch" which ravaged Central America. 
June 1990 .. 7.7 earthquake struck strongly degrees north-west of Iran, signed 50 thousand people dead. 
November 1970 .. Spent 300 thousand people in Bangladesh died in the worst hurricane devastated the world has ever seen.

I´m always impressed about how the nature shows us its power.

It´s awful the thousands or millions of lives its takes, but "after every storm, a rainbow shows".

I believe that every disaster, even the worst of all, always give us a lesson (cruel lesson most of the times) that we have to learn and not repeat it in the future.

I live near the Gulf of Mexico, and the last powerful hurricane that destroy the city arrived in 1955 (hurricane Hilda) killing 200 people and causing damage and putting half of the city under water.
