Don't mess with old people

George Phillips of Meridian, Mississippi, was going up to bed when his wife told him that he'd left the light on in the garden shed, which she could see from the bedroom window.

George opened the back door to go turn off the light but saw that there were people in the shed stealing things.

He phoned the police, who asked, "Is someone in your house?"

He said, "No."

They said, "All patrols were busy", and that he should simply "lock your door and an officer will be along when available."

George said, "Okay," hung up, waited 30 seconds, and phoned the police again.

"Hello, I just called you a few seconds ago because there were people stealing things from my shed. Well, you don't have to worry about them now because I've just shot them." Then he hung up.

Within five minutes three police cars, an Armed Response Unit, and an ambulance showed up at the Phillips' residence and caught the burglars red-handed.

One of the Policemen said to George, "I thought you said that you'd shot them!"

George said, "I thought you said there was nobody available!"

  So clever from the man!   I just don't understand what is with old people?  :):)

we have to respect who is older than us

HAHAHa this is funny… The man is surely smart but why he did say initially there is no one in the house?!!! I still thinking about this point ! hmmm well does he intended to say No to act like what he acted at the end !!

Since the policeman asked if there was someone (he meant burglars) in the man's house, the man replied like that. Actually, the burglars were in the shed, not in the house. Thanks for a very funny story.

Yah, this reflect a good fact of how life goes these days!!

hahaha..Well i ever have thought in empiricism, the old people are able to do several things…practicaly the richest in the world are old people, but secretely they drive this world…

Smart idea…Perhaps we might need it one day :)
