Why do people lie?

Why do people lie?

We lie all the time, at any given moment.

Why?

For what?

When we tell a lie,dont we deceive ourselves??

They are rude. I do not know what benefit when they are lying. Is there a cure for a lie-_-"I do not know, but for me I passed a lot of people are lying. But what I do not advice, but they do not listen

AS YOU CAN SEE FROM YOUR PICS THERE IS NO SIMPLE ANSWER WHY PEOPLE LIE. I wastaught by mother that it is better to tell the most unpleasant truth than to say the sweetest lie. Honesty in the first place. But life is not so easy. We need to lie in manysituationsjust in order not tohave problems with ppl. There i smany ppl who lie just to have benefit for themselves. but there are also situations where you cannot be straighforward because you can harm someone's feelings. 

To get a better situation they want. Those who can tell perfect lies also present more competitiveness in evolution theroy…...

People lie because they cannot face the truth. The truth might be embarrassing but its results are good. However, telling lies takes you temporarely out of a problem to put you in a bigger problem. Those who tell the truth are brave, whereas only coward people tell lies.

Lies are only permitted in wars (not to say the truth about your plans so that your enemy cannot take any precautions), to conciliate between people involved in conflicts ( you go to each of the persons and tell him that the other person says that he likes you and he is sorry for what he has done, which is a lie…) or to tell your wife that she is the most beautiful woman in the world

Lies are usually impulsive (for most ppl I guess). They know it's not the best choice but they procrastinate the moment they know they will have to tell the truth.

I belive that the people lie, because there are many things that we can`t accept and we think that if we say a lie maybe we will be accepted for the society.

Why do people lie? The answer is simple : Virtually everyone lies,and most people are pretty good at it. We lie to get things we want for, for personal gain or to stay out of trouble. We tell lies to protect other's feelings or we feel ourselves compelled to lie whatever the reason is.
