Feedback on my project

I started a website for top news stories which are summarized by members of the site. The site allows readers to rate the summary and gives special badges to writers who get high ratings.

Some teachers have said that summarizing stories would be good practice for their students and I wanted to see what a larger community of teachers thought. Do you think this is something that teachers and students would be intersted in?
