Excuse me ! I have a quesetion about  ”when needed”,I am confused abougt the grammer,  Is that one of usage about need?  Its commen to say :when they need to .Thank you advance

Hi! Yes, “needed” is sometimes used in this way…you could also say “when necessary.” That’s most common.
