1. “I’m anticipating this movie like no other film out there right now” means that the speaker is looking forward to this movie more than any other other film that is playing.


2. Giving something “a free pass” means that a person will try something before he/she makes a judgement about it. For example, someone might give a singer “a free pass” if he/she has never listened to that celebrity before.
