FEMALE TEACHERS - BOYCOTT TEACHER RECRUITMENT FAIRS

Attention all women teachers and aspiring administrators! Boycott/ban and do not register or attend the upcoming Teacher Recruitment Fairs & Conferences for the following companies/organisations. You will have to pay money to register and you will not get a good job out of it – all the good jobs go to the male candidates. These companies employ discriminatory hiring practices and are not women-friendly companies. Women need not apply! Stay away. The companies hire only men for Head of Dept and school leadership positions. The way it works is each of the companies and organisations listed below recruits an elderly retired ex- school superintendent and places them in an international school on the same salary they were earning when they retired. Then this retired super uses the services of the teacher recruitment company that originally placed him in an international school. Then the teacher recruitment compnay rewards the retired super by giving him other plum assignments. The modus operandi is that only males can be hired for these plum 6 figure jobs. I hope your campaign draws some serious attention. Discrimination against women does not only take place in recruitment. Some get the job, but disrespect for her position and presence might get things unbearable…

When I applied for my current job, I filled in a questionairre. One of the question was smt like "would you be willing to work where your boss is a woman?" I said of course I would, I'm not sexist… But no woman works in my department, let alone being in management position. So I never understood what was the use of that question… Maybe just a "just in case" clause there. Anyway… It's necessary to raise public awareness on discrimination.

I would Like to appreciate you…yes thats true,it happens every where,in every firm,industry,school>>>In short in every corner of the earth,though the World is now more advanced and is progressing bUt still it lacks equality and sense of giving opportunities to the right candidate (including males,females,youngsters etc)...this is shameless ,disgusting and extremely Unfair… 'C.I.E' ( yeah they really discriminate a lot),...! + we really need female teachers… and Nice,powerful and determined females in every important fields…!! They will Understand soon!!! keep rocking females…! Don't let the World suppress u!! Boycott is a very nice + peaceful option…
