You can use “can’t handle it” to explain a situation in which you felt overwhelmed. When there were too many things for you to do, or if the things you had to do were too difficult for you, then you “couldn’t handle” the situation. For example, if you have a job and you’re going to school, you’re probably very busy. It might be very stressful. If you “can’t handle it,” you’ll probably have to quit one of the two activities.
