A few weeks ago, Jason didn’t look so good because he was still upset about losing Amanda to Mason. But since Devan liked Mason, she’s probably pretty upset too. But no one has seen her for a while. Luckily, Jason just ran into her on the street and they did a little catching up.

Devan: Uh, nothing. Just a…you know…
Jason: What’re you doing?
Devan: I’m just, uh, selling some CDs.
Jason: What are you selling?
Devan: Oh, nothing good.
Jason: Can I see? Maybe something I’m looking for or something…
Devan: Um…
Jason: Oh, you got the new Malkmus. You got Pearl Jam’s Ten.
Devan: Yeah…
Jason: Blizzard of Ozz. Those are some awesome albums. Why are you getting rid of them?
Devan: Yeah, well, I need some cash.
Jason: Really? I bet you’ll make out pretty well with those. They’re pretty hard to get…Who’s calling you?
Devan: Just someone. I don’t know who it is.
Jason: Well they’re calling you like crazy! Who is it?
Devan: I don’t…
Jason: Frank? Doesn’t Frank sell drugs? Are you buying pot from Frank?
Devan: Um, well, uh…
Jason: Is that…Are you selling…
Devan: I just need some extra cash and Frank’s a good friend, you know.
Jason: You didn’t used to smoke weed.
Devan: Hey, could you not bring this up to anybody? Don’t say this to the other guys.
Jason: Sure, dude, no problem. But, like, when did you start smoking weed all the time, you know?
Devan: You know, things have been rough lately with the whole Mason and Amanda…And I’ve just been…really kinda sad lately.
Jason: I mean, yeah. I know.
Devan: Frank keeps calling me. I gotta go…
Jason: No, dude, let’s just go get some food, c’mon.
Devan: I really do want to keep this Pearl Jam CD.
Jason: I know you do. Let’s go.

Jason runs into Devan and asks her what she’s up to. She says she’s selling some CDs. He asks if he can see them, in case she’s about to sell something he’d like.
She reluctantly shows him the CDs and some of them are really good. He’s surprised that she’s going to sell them.
While they’re talking, Devan’s phone keeps ringing. Jason asks who it is and when she won’t tell him, he looks at the phone. It’s Frank, a known drug dealer.
Jason asks Devan if she’s been buying pot from Frank. Then he realizes that the reason she’s selling her CDs is to get money for drugs. She says that she’s had a hard time since Mason and Amanda got together, but that she has to go. Jason convinces her to go get some food with him instead.

Well, Devan is envolving with wrong person. Dealer is very dangerous. She's pretty, she doesn't need to sell CDs or smoke weed. Devan you should look for an honest job and friends please! |
