Hello!
In the northern part of the U.S., the summer is an exciting time of year. In states like Oregon, Washington, Michigan, New York, Connecticut and Maine, the weather can make life miserable during the winter, but the summers are very beautiful. Many people in Northern states spend a lot of time outdoors during the summer and they plan special events for the summer months.
I will soon take part in a very special summer event. Listen to my conversation with Miguel to hear more about it.

Miguel

Miguel: Beth, you have any exciting plans for the summer?

Beth: I do. I’m actually in my sister’s wedding. So, that’s a big event that I’ve been anticipating for a long time. And, it’ll be really fun to see my family and spend some time with friends.

Miguel: Where is her wedding?

Beth: It’s in New York. So, hopefully the weather will be nice and we’ll be able to enjoy some of the other fun things that everyone loves about New York.

Miguel: Like what?

Beth: Well, we’ll probably go out on a lake and go boating and waterskiiing and fishing and hiking and we’ll play with the dog and, yeah, that’s a lot of fun.

Miguel: So, I take it this is in New York State, not New York City then?

Beth: Right. A lot of people don’t know how cool New York State is and when you get out of the city there’s a lot of outdoor activities that are amazing.

Discussion

I can’t wait for my sister’s wedding. It’s going to be so much fun. Lots of my childhood friends will be in town to celebrate, so there will be a big group of people to hang out with. We’ll spend the whole week partying.
Also, my little sister is getting married! How cool is that? It’s going to be awesome to see her fulfill her dreams of a beautiful wedding.

about my wedding；

When i was in my first year of my colleage, i met my husband.it was the most important thing for us to find our jobs in the same city after gaduation from the colleage.wo were so lucky,we did it and we could stay together.About three years later after attending the work,we made our dicision to get married, even if we had no ability to buy a apartment.Both my parents and his parents had three childers, who need to afford the whole family’s life and they were not rich,they could could not give us big help.So our wedding was very simple, even which just spare a little money. we just had a small party in the restaurant with some old friends. we drunk and sung together.In my mind,our wedding was not the beautiful wedding,but we din’t borrowed money from our parents and friends , we just did the right thing in the limited money owned by both of us.

In my opnion, beautiful wedding is important for us, but to get along with your husband, and work hard together to make your life beautiful is more important.
