Okay Everyone, the joke is that the falling man is occupied with his present state of being all right, however, he's not considering his future of crashing into the ground shortly.  Therefore Led, you were correct!

Do you understand this joke:

A man jumped off a 6-story building and as he was falling past the 3rd floor, someone hollered to him, "how's it going?"  he hollered back, "so far, so good!" Smile

Tuongthieu,

The lyrics to this song lends itself to various interpretations, eclipse means to have something come and cover another, in this case, the songwriters heart.

Great. I had a chance to listen to the song " Total eclipse of the heart", by Bonnie Tyler. What does "eclipse " here mean, room mates ?

You're welcome Sid033.  Everyone did a splendid job in putting forth really good effort to determine the meaning, you drew from your English resources and you all are to be commended.  I plan to post another one soon!

Chilling has it correct, congratulations!  Criz, Sid033, Tuongthieu, theMastermind, Saladeen, and PinkButterfly, good try!  Here is the background for the answer:

In the U.S., if you order food from a restaurant like a hamburger, fish sandwich etc. and you want to request extra condiment such as ketchup or tartar sauce, you would say “heavy ketchup” or “heavy tartar sauce” and the cook would put extra sauce on your sandwich.

In the dialogue, one older man said to the other older man, “how’s it going young man?”  He asked him in a friendly fun type of way how was he doing today, even though he wasn’t a young man but as a joke he asked him.

The other older man responded, “heavy on the young,” which he meant jokingly, keep telling me I’m young, young, young (heavy=extra)!  In other words, he wanted the greeter to put emphasis on the “young” part of his greeting.

Chilling, you scored 100%, you go girl! (read my mini lesson no. 3 for this meaning)  :)

I have heard this saying while quite young and to be honest, I've never understood the true meaning…but I will "give it a go".

Teacher, does it means the younger man states he's "heavy on the young" because he's doing all the things young guys are thought to do like partying, women, cars???

 Enlighten us!:o)

It feels to me, the second man tone is rather even more friendly-sarcastic than the first one, like he is saying to the first one that he is much stronger and healthier than him.

Criz, going by the actual context, it would seem that way, but no, that's not it.
