Did you ever feel sad? Maybe, something caused you to become sad, or perhaps, you were just in a funk for no reason. This happens to all people at some time. It’s a normal part of life, but it’s important to snap out of it as soon as possible. When you snap out of it, you can begin to feel happy again. For some people, it’s easy to snap out of bad feelings. Other people need a plan.

In order to snap out of it, you need a realistic plan. You need to find something that is your thing and use this hobby or activity to become happier. If you love organic food, you can buy fresh vegetables and make a big meal. If you enjoy body art, you might get a tattoo. If you’re in love, you can ask this person out on a date. There are many ways to find happiness again.

Gary has been in a funk. Read today’s English lesson to learn how he is going to snap out of it.

Gary:  Hey, Marni!

Marni:  Hey, Gary. What’s going on with you?

Gary:  I decided today that I’m going to snap out of it.

Marni:  Snap out of what?

Gary:  I’ve been in a funk, and I’m tired of it. And I want to really start enjoying life again.

Marni:  That’s great, Gary. Good for you.

Gary:  Yeah, yeah. First thing, I’m getting a tattoo.

Marni:  A tattoo. Really? I didn’t know that was your thing.

Gary:  It’s not, but it’s part of the plan.

Marni:  Really? What else is part of your plan?

Gary:  I’ve decided to only eat organic foods, and I’m making myself ask out one person a day.

Marni:  One person a day? Isn’t maybe one person a week more realistic?

Gary:  Probably. OK, yeah… one person a week. And I bought a ticket to Buenos Aires this morning.

Marni:  Buenos Aires? What’s gotten into you?

Gary:  I told you. I’m going to snap out of my funk! It’s all part of my plan.

Marni:  OK! That’s awesome, Gary. Good for you.

Gary:  Thanks, Marni.

Marni:  Take care.

Gary:  See you!

Gary has been in a funk. He has felt bad for a while, but now, he wants to snap out of it. He tells Marni about his plan to become happier and enjoy life again. Marni congratulates Gary. She is surprised because he is so happy today. The first part of Gary’s plan is to quickly get a tattoo.

Marni asks Gary about the other details in his plan. She is not sure that he’s being realistic. Gary says that he will only eat organic foods, he’s going to begin asking a lot of people to go on dates with him, and he’s going to Buenos Aires. Marni asks what’s gotten into him. She thinks that he might be a little crazy. But Gary is happy and excited, so she congratulates him again.

When were you in a funk? How did you snap out of it?

it is not easy to snap out of it when we are in funk ..coz everyone feel pains differently ,its dimension, deepth, effects are different in every person ..

and life’s rules are very simple and sharp..sometimes Life takes away the people you need, love, the most…its big pain,sadness..everything around us seems unmeaningful ,empty ,colorless ..

and anyway, life will give you another reasons for living, never give up )))

When I’m in a funk, I try to change my perspective. Traveling is a wonderful way to do this. If it’s only a small funk, I might take a hike in the forest. I also like to read and get lost in other people’s stories.

When I am in a funk , I just snap out of it by listening up beat music or taking  a walk in the park . Which all of that , I feel as though I have lost my self in the wonderful land once up a time .

I was so sad when my father was gone sixteen years ago.And I hab been in a funk for many these years. I was a senior high shool student at that time and would be going to college entrance examination. I studied hard , only hard , so that I could forget my late father. But, what a pity, for many years, I could not forget it.

I had been in a funk for about one years while I was disappointed in a love affair about six years ago. In order to snap out of it, I wrote many many words. And I also like to play pinpon ball.

Fortunately, I like to play and write. Both of them bring me much happy. Expecially, playing pinpon ball, this sport lets me to know more friends, get better healthy, bring me more happiness. When I was sweating, exhausted, I would get a happy of sports.
