The Opportunity

There is a saying that when an opportunity comes, always grab it! Now I know when you seized that moment you are totally fulfilled. Last Friday, September 5, 2008 is a very adventurous day for me. We had a three-hour class only due to the celebration of the First Friday Mass. Well that was good for me because I would not see my hellish teacher in computer. As I walked along the campus there was a call center company which installed a wall climbing facility in front of the Main Building. That was so nice and I really wanted to take that chance because it was just once in a lifetime. At first I was hesitant to do the adventure because many people were watching for those students who would try to wall climb. In the afternoon, there was a strong rain came I missed that opportunity but I promised to myself that when the rain stopped I will to do it and conquer my fear. I went to the athenaeum because I need to conduct Spanish tutorials to our bona fide members of Circulo Hispano Tomasino. It was totally great because my friends visited me on our organization room. I taught them the correct way to pronounce the Spanish language and they were very interested to learn. I am a beginner only in Spanish yet I have a guts to teach my chums a Foreign language. My Spanish mentor really trusts me because she told me that I was the best student that she taught in Spanish. After conducting tutorials, I went in front of Plaza Mayor  to seize the moment in wall climbing. Terrific! I did it. It was great and fun but of course I felt nervous and acrophobic at that time but when I reached the top it was tremendous  and I conquered my fear. How I wished at that time many people were watching at me and witnessed my adventurous skills.  The second blessing in disguise that happened to me was, I witnessed the exhibition of the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe as they will compete for the UAAP Cheerdance Competition. Gee! Another opportunity happened. Although I would not be able to watch the SDT in the Big Dome still I watched them inside the gymnasium with pride in their hearts. How I wish they would gain the title as the champion of all champions. Well I guess, they might not get the trophy because something was different when I watched them they performed better last year than today. Finally, my last opportunity that happened to me was the evaluation of my teacher in Computer Programming! Well I had the power to grade her in lowest mark because she deserves on that position. I was given a chance and my other classmates to grade her in a horrible way. All of us gave her a "Needs Improvement Mark" and I did not have any regret with that. She is a hellish teacher and I had finally got the sweetest revenge ever. I wish she would be stepped out in the edifice and never teach computer. She loves failing us and we were united as one to fail her in the evaluation. No more excuse hellish teacher you deserved it!
