what is the meaning of 'salaam alaikum'??
Essen, is one of my VIP christian friends, one day he asked me.. what is the meaning of 'salaam alaikum' that all muslims use it as a greeting?
i think there are much people do not know the meaning of the Islamic greeting 'salaam alaikum'
O.K..
the words:
'salaam' means: peace
'alaikum': means upon of you <or all of you>
in Arabic language
but when we saying 'salaam alaikum' we mean
May God's blessing be with you
this is the meaning of this strange greeting as what "Essen" have named it.
