Summer...and bummer?

Don't get me wrong.

I love summer. The beaches here, the lazy afternoons and those ice-cold smoothies from the freshest tropical fruits you can imagine, are ready for the taking.

So why the bummer?

I took a job late December in a flower company, hoping to augment my income. I was desperate to find a job and I'm worried that if I don't get a job soon I'll be in deep shit. I enjoyed working for that company, but unfortunately, after not being able to do what the owner wants(since he is not really telling me what to exaclty do and wants me to figure it out on my own), he called me a sneaky FILIPINO liar and wants me out. I still have my dignity after his racist remark (he's an American) so I resigned.

Here I am, typing my sorrows away in my laptop, while looking for home-based jobs instead. I find it interesting, at the same time doing what I love to do - interacting with some friends and writing your thoughts through blogs.

Hmmm. Maybe summer isn't a bummer for me after all. As long as I still have lots of friends to talk to.

Papaya or Mango

Add some sugar or Honey and of course, crushed ice!

Voila! Tropical Summer Smoothie!
