TEACHER'S DAY

Yesterday, I went out and bought another ream of paper; I spent from four o'clock in the morning until about 10:30 a.m. designing worksheets for learning the different parts of a personal computer; I put together 15 packets of 15 sheets of paper each; I laid these packets out in front of 15 chairs and placed a 3 x 5 index card over each packet. I paid a woman 100 pesos to clean up the classroom. I also paid a computer technician to service a slow running computer. I paid him 200 pesos. It wasn't until closer to five o'clock that I received my first cancellation for yesterday's five o'clock class. Later I was to receive five more cancellations – two other students simply did not show up. One excuse was due to having a cold; two other excuses were due to the weather; two others did not give me an excuse – they simply stated that they would not be in class. Of the other two, who knows.
