Totally agree. Very nice words.  Love is the most important and it conquers everything!

My father was a German-Catholic (I don't know if that made him a different Catholic from other Catholics around the globe), and my mom was a Jew who was born and raised in Germany.  I know that the love between my mother and father was deeper than any love that I have ever known -- and I was loved by that same love.

I know that through the course of human history that many terrible, despicable things have happen to people by people -- but we cannot keep living with those horrible thoughts in our hearts -- not if we want to survive as a human race.  Movies and stories that keep reminding us daily about these happenings only keep us from forgetting, forgiving, and moving on.  I do not mean to judge people and things that happened in the past -- I wasn't there -- times were different then.  But now -- today -- at this moment -- I see no profit in continuing to relive and to live with history - judged good or bad.  Now many will disagree with me on this issue -- I know this.  Look, this is one person's opinion -- no one has died and made me a god.  I can only account for myself -- and this house -- my home -- the hatred stops here with me and my household.  I cannot and will not account for others.  May peace be with you always.

In Christianity as well, forgiveness is the most important thing that goes in the Lord's Prayer: "Forgive our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us." The extent to which we forgive our offenders makes for the Lord's forgiveness.
