But I think that this is the most senseless thing about war in that in all the histories of wars throughout mankind's turbulent history, I could find very few incidences were true hatred had been the cause of wars.  I have found evidences of some causes (or said reasons) of war to be greed, self-preservation, honor, pride, fear, intolerance, 'love (such irony)', religion, misunderstanding, patriotism, narcissism, madness, prejudice (color, sex, creed, etc.) etc., etc.  However, except for maybe a few ‘possible’ links between war and hatred (true hatred -- not simple dislikes based on differences of opinions or desires, but rather a complete repulsive disgust -- an emotion so profound and evil that for one to have this emotion is like having a poison so powerful and toxic running through the soul of a hater as to burn his or her blood) -- I doubt that few men could survive this emotion.  Again, I have found very few histories of war where the emotion of hate had caused a war.

Now is the time to say, “Ya, no more!”  I don’t want what you have; I don’t care who or what you believe in – believe according to your ‘own’ conscious and allow me to do the same.  I don’t care what the color of your skin, hair or eyes are – I mean, these features do not tell me the color of your thoughts. I don’t want your oil, land, property, precious stones or jewels –-  again, I don’t want anything from you, but that you allow me to love you for who you are or who you think you are at this moment.  Your past or possible future means only that -- abstractions.  Allow me to love you as you are now.  And above all this, I don’t want my government to have your property – I want it, my government, to leave you and your government alone and in peace.  As Pawns on a chessboard -- we, you and I, are more than them.  They, our governments, exist because we exist – we are our governments.  Am I suggesting that we rise up against our individual governments?  No!  Emphatically,“ No.”  Again, we are our governments.  I would not want us to rise up against ourselves or up against anyone else -- we have been doing this far too long – it is time for us all to instead of rising above another, to start raising each other up.  Together we can rise up higher than we could alone, and fighting each other simply to gain a higher advantage ‘point.’  There is no higher ‘point’ than being there as one – as one people.  I love you all for who you want me to believe you are.

Would someone please remind me, "Why do men fight?"  And of all the reasons or excuses that have been made, are being made, and yet to be made, of all of these, can any of them justify death?  If you say, "Yes," I would like to hear your 'point.'
