I think that there is no greater freedom than for a person to be permitted to think and believe the conscience of one's own mind—up to and before it conflicts with the rights of another to do the same. I want my purpose of having lived on this earth to have been in search of happiness—whatever that may be—[to me], but yet not having affected others to have done the same.

Yes, I agree--but would that be truly a religious thing or anti-religious--in that the 'word' religion is being used to try and somehow convince oneself or others that what he or she is doing is of some divine-supported cause?
