I would not excuse any action that hurts another or that infringes on the happiness of another.  I judge the action and not the person.  Accountability?  Yes, always there needs to be accountability.  For whatever reason a person cannot live in society without hurting it -- for the wellbeing of that society--that person needs to be controlled.  I completely agree with this.  However, this person must not be treated in the like manner he/she has treated society.

It someone is bullying, mocking, lying, killing, -- there's only one perspective -- Bad! Putting it in 2-3-4 and more dimensions is only a pretex. He's bullying because he couldn't achieve anything good because he was neglected by his parents who couldn't bring him up properly, lets forgive him. But the one that have been bullied is dead. He's lying because he wanted to get more money, and had to tell untruth, -- it's ok, we'll get this over too, it's not a crime! He's killing, because of revenge, somebody killed one of his relatives, so he's bloody cruel and got to be exused too. He's teasing in a bad way and sarcastic, just because his all life didn't work out, so let's be sympathetic to him and close our eyes at how he's having fun at the cost of somebody else. Sorry, for all these cases there's only one perspective and no exuses! From me at least.

There is nothing 'wrong' with having a perspective -- we all have one.  However, it is a bit one sided: it would be like seeing only one side of the world and then forming an opinion about what  the world is about, wouldn't you think?

Good point handwriter. I think any one who wants to improve is a kind of a shoe-in for Bernard Shaw's character. Just step-by-step, don't stop and here we go! Actually I have way to go before the perfection. :)
