Yes, I know and respect that we each have and are loyal to our God or Gods and that each of us believe and give worship according to the dictates of our own hearts.  I do not mean to offend anyone about his or her duty and loyalty to his or her own beliefs.  I am only trying to suggest that each of us has our own beliefs and that we should respect one another no matter our beliefs or the beliefs of others.   I know that that is the way my God would want it.

I wish all you, your friends, and your families a long, healthy, and happy New Year. I pray that your dreams, and/or goals are all met and fulfilled. I pray that no one experiences any more pain than is necessary to add strength and courage to each of his/her hearts. I pray that no one needlessly feels the need to be lonely and not loved. I pray that lovers will love their lovers—respecting them as they fulfill each other’s needs and desires. I pray that children will respect and honor their parents, and that parents will love and respect their children. I pray that governments will govern with wisdom and honesty—respecting their citizens—treating all their people with dignity. I pray that countries will respect the sovereign and free state of other countries. I pray that the Gods will respect the Gods and their people as though there was but one God and one people.
